Compassion Care Billing
Compassion Care Billing is a family-owned billing and revenue cycle management company run by two sisters.
We work with home care, home health, personal care, private-duty care, and related agencies to manage the administrative and billing work that happens before, during, and after a claim.
Every client is assigned a personal lead biller who learns how the agency operates, works directly on its account, and remains its consistent point of contact.
Small by Design
Being a small family-owned company allows us to stay close to both our clients and the work being completed on their behalf.
Our clients are not account numbers passed between departments. We take the time to understand what is happening inside each agency, what has already been tried, and what needs attention next.
Personal Attention
Your agency receives individual attention instead of being placed into a one-size-fits-all process.
Consistent Oversight
The same lead biller remains familiar with your account rather than starting over with each new question.
Flexible Support
We learn your existing systems and procedures and work within the needs of your agency whenever possible.
Accountability
You have a direct relationship with the people responsible for managing and following up on your revenue cycle.
From Getting Set Up to Getting Claims Resolved
Revenue cycle management includes the administrative and billing processes that help an agency move from provider and payer setup to correctly prepared claims, payment follow-up, and account resolution.
We help keep those connected steps organized, monitor claims after submission, address problems when they arise, and continue appropriate follow-up on unresolved accounts.
Credentialing and Enrollment
Support with provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and the information needed to begin working with applicable payers.
Verification and Requirements
Review of insurance eligibility, benefits, authorization details, patient information, and billing requirements.
Claim Preparation and Submission
Billing setup, claim creation, submission, and review of clearinghouse or payer rejections.
Corrections and Denials
Corrected claims, denial review, appeals or reconsiderations when applicable, and communication about needed information.
Accounts-Receivable Follow-Up
Claim-status checks, aging-claim review, unpaid-balance follow-up, and continued work on unresolved claims.
Payments and Reporting
Payment posting, applicable self-pay invoicing, account tracking, and clear communication about outstanding concerns.
One Lead Biller Who Learns Your Agency
Your agency should not have to explain the same billing issue to a different person every time you ask a question.
Every Compassion Care Billing client is assigned a personal lead biller who works directly with the account and takes the time to learn how the agency operates.
Your lead biller becomes familiar with your payer mix, patients, services, employees, caregivers, providers, authorizations, documentation requirements, recurring concerns, and internal procedures.
Two Sisters Who Stay Close to the Work
Compassion Care Billing is owned and operated by Anna Dormani and Katherine Sao Joao. Each leads a different part of the business while working together to provide organized service, clear communication, and careful follow-through.
Anna Dormani
Anna focuses on business growth, accounting, marketing, client acquisition, and agency relationships.
Katherine Sao Joao
Katherine focuses on billing operations, service delivery, employee training, client retention, and consistent account processes.
Experienced With the Systems Your Agency Uses
Every agency has its own combination of payers, portals, billing systems, and electronic visit verification platforms.
Our billers have experience working with systems including Availity, HHAeXchange, CareBridge, and Sandata. Your personal lead biller will also learn how your agency uses its specific systems.
These are examples of platforms our team has worked with, not a complete list. Compassion Care Billing is not presented as an official partner of, certified by, sponsored by, or endorsed by these companies.
RCM Support for Care Agencies
We primarily work with small and mid-sized organizations that provide care in the home or community.
Home Care Agencies
Revenue cycle support for agencies providing nonmedical or supportive care in the home.
Home Health Agencies
Administrative and billing support for agencies working with clinical services and healthcare payers.
Personal Care and Private Duty
Support for personal care, private-duty, Medicaid waiver, and mixed-payer arrangements.
Related Care Providers
Organizations with similar revenue cycle needs are welcome to contact us to discuss whether our services fit.
Pricing Connected to Your Collections
Our ongoing billing pricing is based on a percentage of collected revenue rather than a flat monthly billing fee.
The appropriate arrangement depends on your claim volume, payer mix, billing complexity, current workflow, and the level of support your agency needs.
We will explain what is included before any work begins so you can make an informed decision without pressure.
A Family Business That Stays Close to the Account
We built Compassion Care Billing around direct communication, consistent support, careful follow-through, and a clear understanding of who is responsible for the account.
We remain involved in the company’s daily work and in the relationships we build with our clients.
Tell Us What Has Been Difficult to Manage
You may need help with your complete revenue cycle, a backlog of unresolved claims, credentialing and payer setup, or a billing process that has become too much for your internal team.
Tell us a little about your agency and what has been giving you trouble. We will listen, ask questions, and help you determine whether Compassion Care Billing may be a good fit.
